The Eighth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 8) will be held from 27th to 28th August 2022. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), with Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Kenya and Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Senegal as co-hosts, will organize a side event named “African Initiative for Combating Desertification (AI-CD): Toward Achieving a Resilient Africa” on 24th Aug. 2022.
